Intimacy with God

Intimacy is not a new or novel idea. It is an eternal one. It is what God is. God is Love. As such love involves intimacy at every level, there is nothing, outside of love in God’s community of the Triune Godhead. Thus, as He is undiluted in His love, He is also undiluted in being Holy Holy Holy. This is not a sanctification process within God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is undiluted in His being God. His love though not expressed in the trinity is in the same way when John says God is Love. One attribute never overrules the other or is the first place with the others. They are one in perfect harmony. perfect glory, perfect identity. One cannot divide God’s attributes into a singular concept, though theologians tried they fail when they don’t state this fact.

God is indivisible in His attributes.

When we recognize intimacy for its purpose in our life as a Christian, we come to live in undiltuted states, though not in the same immeasurableness and infinite undiluted all-mighty conclusions for which God is God. We are one undiluted with His Love, as with His Holiness as with His the fruit of the Spirit. Yet, this does not make us as Gods, it does make us partakers of the divine nature of God for the one purpose of intimacy with them and with one another. Intimacy cannot remain alone, it seeks to grow in grace, expression, in identifying one another in-Christ as of equal basis. Billy Graham, Paul the Apostle no Christian is more or less in that arena of intimacy! God’s wonderful grace gives us that equality for Christ is that equalizer.
